About the Event
During Skye's 7 month fight against NUT Carcinoma, Skye's blood and platelet counts were frequent hurdles in getting the treatment she needed. Like many cancer patients, many of Skye's treatments were only possible because of blood transfusions from generous donors.
This is why we will be hosting a blood drive from January 24th to 31st in honor of Skye. With this, we hope to raise awareness for NUT carcinoma, carry on Skye's legacy of hope and strength and provide much needed blood products. By donating blood, you will not only be helping us honor Skye, you will also be helping Skye's spirit live on by providing white blood cells, red blood cells, platelets, and other products to those in need.
